“Hello there! just wondering what’s Malaysia like? Is it a nice place to visit?”

It’s a country large and diverse enough to be different depending on where you are going (George Town, Penang is radically different in vibes to Langkawi, Kedah to Kuala Lumpur to anywhere in Borneo) ; so Idk how to tell you what Malaysia is like or if it’s nice if I don’t know what kind of traveller you are or what you are looking for. Except all of the food is good and it’s humid and hot all over. And don’t begpack.

Reimena Yee is a graphic novelist, artist and flamingo enthusiast.

She writes and illustrates quite a few webcomics and graphic novels. When not making books, she lulls away her time with essays on craft, life and experiences in the publishing industry. Some of her thoughts of art and life are rather unstructured and will evolve over time as this blog matures, as they should be.

Currently committed to being Alexander the Great's death doula. Is a nerd for all things spooky and historical.
