Remember that scene when Zeynel is getting ready to show carpets to the 2 French nobles and you show Ayse in the mirror instead of Zeynel’s reflection? I like to imagine that he can somehow summon an image of her in mirrors at will. That way he can be encouraged by seeing her.”

Aww that headcanon is so sweet!! Lmao, it’s not related to the mirror thing specifically but I have a sadder headcanon (?author’s canon?) re: Zeynel remembering her face. Anyone who has lost somebody after so many years and not have photographs of them will know what this headcanon might be.
