Ohhh hey, thank you so much!!
I have an inspiration blog here that I update quite frequently, and it gives you a good overall sense of what I find inspiring, and maybe you’ll find some new artists that you like too!
But if you wanna know specifically…it’s Dave McKean, Chris Riddell, Shaun Tan, Emily Carroll, Joann Sfar. These artists were my very early inspirations and I think their influence in my art is quite strong?? Right now my inspirations are a muddle because I’m exposed to so many artists, and made friends with so many who are inspiring as well! Generally I am drawn to strong compositions and vibrant colours, and more often than not a vintage aesthetic, and European comics.
