Apr102021: Balloons in clean lines

“Hi! I was wondering, how do you draw your speech bubbles? I’ve been having some trouble haha. The outlines tend to become shaky for me, so I’ve been wanting to know your method.”

I draw them the same way I draw the lineart – confident, swooping one line strokes for each side. If you’re struggling, then you can use vector shapes (Clip Studio has an in-built bubbles tool). But if you want the hand drawn look without the pain, you can do the vector shapes first and then trace over them hahaa.
