Another artist meme lands.

Recently I've been on a personal quest to incorporate more tactile and dumb tech in my everyday (aside: if only it was just as easy to get a himbo boyfriend too!). I have no idea if it's age or nostalgia, but I'm becoming more appreciative of technology that I don't have to connect to the internet to just function, and that responds back at me if I jab at it.

Came across this poll today that was in response somewhat to the rumours that Tumblr is becoming a skeleton crew. This is a repost of the reblog I made on my art Tumblr.

I am doing this thing I should have done a while back and converting all Twitter embeds on this blog into blockquotes. It's been more horrifying than you'd think.

There are some things online that reemerge incessantly, astounding the seemingly neverending amounts of people who missed out on the earlier editions of discourse while frustrating the ones to whom this would be their 3 billionth encounter. Again?! Again. Again. An apple is one of these things.

With the impending degradation of Web 2.0 the past few months, I have been accelerating my quest to archive everything I have (almost) ever posted on social media (Twitter, Tumblr, DA... there's not much on IG or FB) and other places (Flickr, Neopets, Google, and Photobucket). Rants, text, threads, doodles, art - anything from my 16 years of being online is being taken out and given their rightful place on my website.
